The Project 2025 is Trump’s Plan Hoax

2–3 minutes

The Hoax

Project 2025 Is Trump’s Plan

Project 2025, a plan Democrats have strategically famed as Trump’s, is a presidential transition initiative created by former White House officials structured around four key components: a comprehensive policy guide, a database of potential administration personnel, a training program for these candidates, and a strategic action plan for the first 180 days in office. The project’s broad scope and ambitious plans have drawn considerable attention and criticism. The plan is widely criticized for it’s plans to cut social safety net programs, rollback civil rights protections, reduce overtime protections for workers, and restrict access to healthcare and reproductive rights.

Hoaxology | How The Hoax Was Made

Here’s how this hoax was made.

Selective Reporting

Selective reporting was used in this case by media outlets that chose to highlight Trump’s supposed alignment with Project 2025 while ignoring key moments where he condemned it. By only focusing on quotes or actions that seemed to link Trump with the project, they left out crucial counterpoints that would have shown his opposition. This omission creates a skewed version of reality, falsely associating Trump with the project and pushing a narrative that serves their agenda while deliberately ignoring the parts that contradict it.

Echo Chamber Effect

The “Project 2025 is Trump’s Plan” hoax uses the Echo Chamber Effect by amplifying the false connection between Trump and the initiative through repetitive reporting across various media outlets. Initially, a narrative was seeded that linked Trump to Project 2025, often by selectively highlighting statements that seemed to support the association. Other media outlets then echoed this claim, citing each other instead of independently verifying Trump’s position or including his public criticism of the project. As the narrative circulated, it gained credibility through repetition, reinforcing the false perception that Trump was aligned with the project, despite his clear opposition to it. This created an echo chamber where the repeated message seemed like a legitimate, widely accepted fact, even though it was based on selective reporting and omission.

  1. You should link Trump’s actual policy plans as outlined on his website. Linking the BS project 2025 without showing actual policy agenda doesn’t really help

  2. The training in Project 2025 is explicit that appointees follow the _President’s_ agenda and advance the _President’s_ campaign promises.

It says nothing about following the Mandate of the Heritage Foundation, which is merely a consultation that a conservative president is asked to consider. The President is under no obligation to follow any of it.

That it might overlap a conservative President’s own agenda in many areas is by virtue of the fact that both are conservative and presumably classic liberal.

The Heritage Foundation is more of a trifecta of traditionalism, classic liberalism (John Locke), and Christian Nationalism (Federal imposed moralities), whereas Trump is more of a paleoconservative, mainly overlapping Project 2025 in nationalist (America First) and classic liberal principles.

In this pass, Trump emphasizes state sovereignty more strongly than in his first administration (at least with regard to abortion law), despite he fought with state sovereignty over the sanctuary city issues. The Heritage Foundation is leaning more toward Federalism where it aligns with Christian morality, and will thus prefer anti-abortion on the Federal level rather than leaving it to the states, and a few other different priorities.

That the Left is so adamant about attaching Trump to Project 2025’s Mandate means that the Mandate is a great threat to them (particularly the anti-Christian Neo Marxist Progressives), and they believe they can use it to create fear in the Democratic voting community that the Mandate is tyrannical in nature.

  3. Why did he hire Russell Vought, the guy who wrote & worked on Project 2025?
And why did he post this on his verified Truth Social account? 👇
